Thinking Differently
On September 6, 2022, IBA Career Development Center organized a guest speaker session with Mr. Kalim Aziz, Founder & Chief Executive Officer Kiradvisory, Incorporated in England & Wales, in class of Managerial Economics taught by Dr. Khadija Bari Malik.
The title for this session was "thinking differently" in the context of economics: price setting in marketplace. The session was started with discussion of standard model basic axioms. Mr. Kalim stated that marketplace creates value for both as the buyer gets what he wants at a price which is less than the value of the product and the seller gets a price which is more than what he values the product at or what cost him to create.
The focus of the discussion was to lead students to think cognitively in the context of economics, and they found the session interesting and asked questions frequently.
