Study Trip at SPAR Pakistan
On November 26th, 2022: IBA Career Development Center (CDC) facilitated the visit at SPAR Pakistan, which is instructed by Atif Murtaza, lecturer, and Head of the Career Development Center (CDC), for the class of Retailing.
The students have introduced a placement strategy for each product. Every aisle was sorted through different strategies, In the entrance aisle, the breakfast solutions are placed for the morning customers, snacks – quick meals, and so on.
Students also received a few points for learning, i.e. categorization of the products, and got explained about different categories, in-store promoters to educate the consumer, having a Modern trade system where they keep adjusting the layout according to customer response.
Furthermore, they were exposed to the breadth of assortments, shelf-ready packs, Free Standing Units (FSU), and the benefits of providing a one-stop solution.
