Reckitt Benckiser Drive 2019-2020
September 13, 2019: The RB team including CEO RB Hygiene Home, Mr. Akbar Ali Shah, HR Director RB Health, Ms. Himra Mursil, and HR Business Partner RB Hygiene Home, Ms. Maryam Anis along with the summer interns and management trainees visited the IBA to open their gates for the batch of 2020 & 2021.
As the recruitment season for the year formally begins, Reckitt Benckiser returns with their Global Challenge - "The League of Game Changers 2.0." The session was initiated by the CEO and IBA Alumnus, Mr. Akbar Ali Shah, who shared his elevating journey with the students. He explained how with RB, students can go places if they have what it takes to be the game changer; passion, innovation and drive. He also explained the purpose of this game challenge as a means of recruitment and quoted, "We don't want you to be the best in Pakistan, but we want you to global!"
Mr. Shah's high-spirited talk was followed by Ms. Himra Mursil who showed the students a glimpse of life at RB. It's not just the global factor that makes RB a dream workplace but also the internal environment where every achievement is celebrated, women are empowered, and you're respected regardless of your gender or position. She also talked about RB's multiple brands and on-going business and social projects like their ongoing campaign "Hoga Saaf Pakistan."
Lastly, Ms. Maryam Anis walked the students through the rules of participation. Students, in pairs of three, are required to register online to participate in RB LGC. Finalists would fly to London for the final battle with contestants coming in from 19 other countries.
