Guest Speaking session on Blockchain
December 8, 2021: IBA Career Development Centre invited Mr. Muhammad Arif Najmi for conducting another informative session for a different set of students titled '"How emerging technologies will change society" at the IBA city campus.
He emphasized that Blockchain is all about shifting from trusting people to trusting calculations and algorithms. He briefly described the back-end framing of Blockchain so that transactions can be proceed in a secure way. The students highly appreciated this session and shared their views of experiences new learning avenues of technological advancement.
A token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Muhammad Arif Najmi. The session was co-hosted by Dr. Nadya Qamar Chisty Mujahid, Assistant Professor - Social Sciences & Liberal Arts for her BBA class.
Mr. Muhammad Arif Najmi has a vast experience in the tech field and is a Blockchain enthusiast. He served Air blue, PIA, Saudi Air, and Atlas jet (Turkey) in the past. He pointed out that COVID-19 gave him the opportunity to look at Block Chain.
