Guest Speaker Session - Salman Sarwar Butt, Amir Haider Butt and Najmus Saqib
On April 20, 2024, IBA CDC had the privilege of hosting a guest speaker session focusing on CV development and interview skills. This insightful event was conducted with Ms. Shumaila Omar Zubair, Faculty Member in the Department of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts.
The session catered primarily to freshman-year students of the Speech Communication course, providing them with invaluable insights from distinguished speakers: Mr. Salman Sarwar Butt CEO of Green Peak International Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Aamir Haider Butt CEO of International Clinical Solutions, and Mr. Najmus Saqib CEO of Dr Salim Ahmed & Co Karachi. The esteemed speakers drew from their extensive professional journeys to offer advice and engaged with the students by reviewing sample CVs and conducting impromptu interviews. They introduced essential techniques such as SEAT and STAR, equipping students with the skills to excel in interviews. Moreover, they emphasized often-overlooked aspects of the recruitment process, including presentability, self-belief, and attitude.
