Guest Speaker Session
On November 17th, 2022: IBA Career Development Center (CDC) organized a guest speaker session with Junaid Alam - Director, Global People & Culture Operations, Total Rewards & Expansion Markets at Swvl, in collaboration with Faculty Ms. Sara Khan for the class Human Resource Management.
The guest speaker briefly described each of the main functions of HRM _ talent management, operations, learning and development, compensation, performance management, and layoffs_ as they are currently practiced in Pakistan.
He was engaging, and interactive and held students' attention throughout, asking questions as he moved along.
