Guest Speaker Session - Farhan Jameel
November 25, 2023, IBA Career Development Center facilitated a guest speaker session in collaboration with Dr. Mohammed Kamran Mumtaz, currently leading the Technology Innovation Management & Design course for MBA (Executive).
Mr. Farhan Jameel, who is currently the Lead Product Research, Reporting, and Analytics at HBL - Habib Bank Limited, shared his experience in Product Management and Design as he currently spearheads the development of HBL Mobile App. He emphasized that Product Design is a tailor-made activity and one size fits all criteria do not bring about success. The design of products should be inclusive, especially in the case of organizations like HBL which has a massive customer base. A product hence should not only physically appear to have been designed for a specific set of customers but should also provide the necessary service that completely resolves the problem of the target audience. He also highlighted the importance of security and compliance in conjunction with technology.
