Guest Speaker Session - Faizan Khan

On April 17, 2024, Mr. Adnan Ahmed Faculty invited Mr. Faizan Khan National Key Account Manager at L'Oréal as a guest speaker in his Trade Marketing class for final year BBAs.

Faizan Khan has 14 years' Trade Marketing and Sales experience, which includes key positions at Unilever and Shan Foods. He highlights valuable insights into the complexities of trade marketing, especially in today's omni-channel environment. Topics such as pricing strategies across different channels, the impact of product portfolios, and revenue growth management are crucial for students to understand as they prepare to enter the business world, how product portfolios will impact channels, and the P&L impact of channel selection. Of particular interest was revenue growth management which McKinsey has identified in 2019 as the new horizon. We looked at Pakistani examples of inter-channel pricing. Having Dr. Nida Khan, the Chairperson of Marketing at IBA, also attended the session adds to its significance. It must have been a great learning experience for the final-year BBA students.
