Recruitment Drives | Daraz Future Leaders Program (DFLP)
February 26, 2020: An orientation session was held about Daraz Future Leaders Program (DFLP), by the recruitment team of Daraz.pk, at the IBA Karachi Main Campus. The session was led by the Director Commercial, Mr. Imran Saleem, and the Human Resource Business Partner, Mr. Saad Shakil, who informed students about DFLP and explained the application process in detail.
Daraz.pk is a leading online marketplace, and was recently acquired by the Alibaba Group. Daraz has launched its own logistics company that's designed to carry out e-commerce operations, and is called Daraz Express (known as DEX). The mission and core values of Daraz, which include Ownership, Teamwork and Integrity, were highlighted in the session. DFLP is an 18-month rotational program, where trainees' industry knowledge and skills will be polished.
Management Trainees and IBA Alumnus, Ms. Iraj Malick Imam and Mr. Saad Shakil, and LUMS Alumna, Ms. Minza Khalid, shared their experience of working in Daraz.pk, and gave further insights about the company. The session was interactive throughout, and was followed by a Q&A session.
