Corporate Connect Series | Guest Speaking Session
April 6, 2022, IBA Career Development Center in collaboration with Dr. Muhammad Kamran Mumtaz hosted a "Corporate Connect Series" session in his "Operational Management" class. Mr. Talha Malik, Planning Manager at Midas Safety, was the guest speaker.
Mr. Talha discussed some aspects and scope of operations management with a focus on demand forecasting and planning, product and process design, capability planning and material management. He also focused on the integration of the supply chain into operations and inventory management strategies. In addition, he highlighted how business management objectives are strategically aligned with an enterprise's internal system. He also discussed Midas Safety's Supply Chain Management systems and how the company strives to obtain quality assurance and control through various international certifications.
