Corporate Connect Series | Pricing Strategy

March 31, 2021: The IBA CDC in collaboration with Assistant Professor, Dr. Beenish Tariq organized an online guest speaker session for MBA students enrolled in the course of Marketing Management. Business Unit Manager, SEARLE, Mr. Sarosh Gul was invited to conduct a session on Pricing Strategy.

Mr. Sarosh talked about how companies develop their prices and eventually finalize them. The two models used for finalizing the pricing are GTM model and Shopper marketing model. The GTM model stands for Go to market strategy. Broader market strategy comes into forefront play in deciding the goals. A live case study was discussed in detail about a company to produce liquid soap manufactured locally.
