Corporate Connect Series | Guest Speaking Session
February 21, 2022: The IBA Career Development Center (CDC) organized a guest speaking session as part of its 'Corporate Connect Series' segment in collaboration with Associate Professor, Dr. Mohsin Zahid Khuwaja in his Corporate Finance class. Mr. Akhter Zaib, Managing Director, @KalSoft was invited as a guest speaker to talk on the theme 'Driving Profitable Growth'.
Mr. Akhter stressed the importance of start-ups in any field. He focused on real-world experience by working on new ideas and taking risks to drive businesses. He was of the view that human resources have an essential role to play. He focused on evolving business market dynamics and encouraged students to consider being self-employed by defining their KPIs rather than being employed, working from 9 to 5. He also talked about his career and the decisions he made in his lifetime.
The students truly found the session interactive and asked candid questions on the subject.
