Corporate Connect Series | Regulatory challenges to Non-Bank Finance Company sector in Pakistan

September 25, 2019: The CDC in collaboration with Assistant Professor, Dr. Saqib Sharif, hosted a session of Corporate Connect Series at the IBA Karachi, Main Campus.

Product Manager at Standard Chartered and IBA alumna, Ms. Asma Haq was invited to speak on "Regulatory challenges faced by Non-Bank Finance Companies in Pakistan."

Ms. Haq shared her experience of almost 8 years in the department of treasury and investment planning. The difference between banking institutions and non-bank finance companies (NBFCs) was thoroughly explained to the audience. Discussion about the changes in regulatory policies for latter institutions took place whereby implications of the new policies and what difficulties it brought to them were reviewed.
