October 31, 2019: The CDC with faculty member, Ms. Kanza Sohail, co-hosted a guest speaker session at the IBA Karachi main campus.

Human Resources Manager from ICI Pakistan, Ms. Munazza Shoaib was invited to share insights on the Latest Developments in Human Resource Management. Ms. Munazza initiated the discussion by briefly explaining the link between a company's vision statement and culture with required competencies. She laid emphasis on the need for extensive strategic management and alignment of objectives that create a cascading effect from C.E.O to the lower management. Ms. Munazza discussed the managerial differences in local corporate sector and international markets in terms of structure and competencies.

The speaker advised students to seek active feedback from seniors to get a better understanding about your ideas and avoid being afraid of failures.
