Guest Speaker Session
On November 23rd, 2022: IBA Career Development Center (CDC) organized a guest speaker session in collaboration with faculty member Dr. Asif Jaffer – Assistant Professor / Accounting & Law.
Prof. Bilal Amin Godil – CEO at velocity Textiles, commenced the session by sharing his journey that how he did detailed research before starting a business to fill the gap. He guided students that to pursue a career in starting a business or joining a family business you have to enter a capital-intensive industry because it carries less human error.
In every business Accounting and financial balances carries a very important role. If there is an individual or a company, you must have a 4 to 5-year on-hand financial planning.
He concluded the session by addressing the ''Always seek opportunities to fill in the gap and build a business, work on the maximization of revenue, select a business that has more inventory turnover.''
