The IBA Career Development Center (#IBACDC) hosted another successful event as part of the CEO Forum series.
On September 8, 2022: The topic of discussion was 'Startup Landscape in Pakistan - Tales of Failures and Successes.' The discussion was moderated by Dr. Saima Husain, Assistant Professor & Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the #IBAKarachi, who was in conversation with Mr. Ehsan Saya, Managing Director - Daraz, Ms. Halima Iqbal, CEO & Co-Founder - Oraan, Mr. Hamza Rauf, Co-Founder & Director - Telemart, and Mr. Ahmed Ayub, Co-founder - Airlift.
The panel had an insightful discussion on e-commerce, investment, the underserved portions of society, and the role of the academic institutes in instilling values amongst students. The question-answer session that followed conveyed the inquisitiveness of the students who wanted to learn from these corporate leaders.
