The Quirkiest Recruitment Drive: Metro Cash and Carry MT Program 2017
IBA CDC team organized and arranged some very happening recruitment activities and sessions in this month of April. Metro Cash and Carry conducted a two-day activity which turned out to be a very engaging and interactive session. A team of more than 7 people conducted this entire activity which included their top management like the Managing Director, Marek Minkiewicz and the Head of HR, Zahra Hussain.
The most exciting activities to captivate students' interest and to propel Metro's branding strategies included a Photo Challenge in which groups of four students had to participate and take a photo in front of the Metro Roller Coaster and Trolley placed at IBA Student-Alumni Center at the main campus. The best picture was awarded with RS. 10,000 cash price.
Another stirring activity was all about the chance to win an IPhone 7 which was targeting MBA students. Students were asked to visit Metro's job portal and select a guiding principle they relate to the most and make a video showing how they exhibit it. Later on the students had to share it on Metro's FB page with the given hashtags. The video with the most likes, was ultimately the winner. Syed Mohsin Hussain won this challenge. Well done Mohsin!
These activities were followed by an interactive session by their HR team and the Managing Director. Later on, students appeared for the test of Metro's MT Program 2017.
When the head of HR, Zahra was asked about her entire experience at IBA, she added that IBA students stood out among all the rest of the universities' students where they conducted the activities so far. She was very pleased with the overall enthusiasm of the students and hoped that some of them would be able to land up in their fast paced organization through this program.
